About Greer Liguori, M.S. Nutrition, CSCS
The Greer Experience isn’t just a journey, it’s a way of life designed to help you live healthier, happier, and with greater purpose. It’s about exploring the world with curiosity, seeking wisdom from those who have lived well, and uncovering the keys to longevity and fulfillment. Through travel, books, deep conversations, and immersive experiences, I gather and share insights that empower you to create a life of adventure, wellness, and meaning.
My passion for exploration began early, shaped by years of playing competitive sports. As a former Division I athlete at Boston University, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and pushing beyond limits, lessons that now guide me in every journey I take. Sports instilled in me the drive to embrace challenges and find purpose in personal growth, whether on the track and field or in life itself.
That same curiosity led me to earn my Master’s in Nutrition at Boston University, and study abroad in Italy, where I immersed myself in a culture that values health, longevity, and intentional living. Experiencing firsthand how movement, food, and connection contribute to a healthy life, I became passionate about uncovering the secrets of those who have lived long, healthy, and purposeful lives.
At the heart of The Greer Experience is the belief that knowledge is meant to be shared and that we are all students of life. Books have the power to expand our thinking, wisdom is passed down through generations, and new experiences can transform the way we live. Every journey, whether through travel, reading the words of a great thinker, or learning from someone who has lived a life full of meaning, is an opportunity to discover insights that can help you thrive.
More than anything, The Greer Experience is about encouraging each of us to embrace confidence in our own gifts and trust in our unique path. No two journeys are the same, and that’s what makes life so extraordinary. When we lean into what makes us different, our passions, talents, and perspectives; we create a life that is not just adventurous but deeply fulfilling.
I invite you to be part of this journey through travel, engaging discussions, and shared experiences. Together, let’s explore the world and uncover the knowledge that makes life extraordinary.
“We must not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we began and to know the place for the first time.”
-T.S. Eliot

Boston University
I’ve been a multi-sport athlete my whole life, but it was competing in the 400m hurdles at Boston University on a scholarship that truly shaped me. The physical, mental, and emotional challenges I faced there pushed me to grow in ways I never expected and taught me how to take care of myself and build a life with real meaning.
Along the way, I fell in love with nutrition. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Health Science and Master’s in Nutrition and even studied abroad in Padua, Italy to learn about the Mediterranean diet firsthand which furthered my understanding of what it really meant to live well.
Now I’m here to share everything I’ve gathered from books, traveling, documentaries, health and nutrition, and life itself to guide, inspire, and walk alongside you as you build a life that feels healthier, happier, and more purposeful.
Athletic Coach
After graduating, I moved to Miami to pursue my passion for helping others improve their health, strength, and overall performance.
As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), I began working with a wide range of individuals including entrepreneurs, athletes, physicians, attorneys, and professionals across different fields and guiding them through movement, nutrition, mindset, and performance-based coaching.
During this time, I was introduced to NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen, who invited me to coach his son’s basketball team. This became a defining experience in my career, where I applied everything I had learned through my education and coaching practice to support the development of young athletes both physically and mentally.

Blue Zones
I first became interested in the Blue Zones during college after receiving a cookbook from my parents that explored their way of living. That introduction sparked a deeper curiosity into how environment, nutrition, purpose, community, and daily habits influence longevity.
When I moved to Miami, I set out to visit each of the Blue Zones to better understand these lifestyles firsthand.
Since then, I have traveled to Nicoya, Costa Rica and Sardinia, Italy, where I spent time with local communities studying their daily routines, perspectives, and approach to long-term health and well-being.
These experiences have deeply informed my understanding of longevity and continue to shape my work today.
World Traveler
My life is now based in San Diego, California, though I have been fortunate to travel extensively across the world, immersing myself in different cultures and ways of living.
These experiences have shaped my perspective on health, wellness, and what it means to live with intention.
Each place I have visited has offered a different lens on longevity, lifestyle, and well-being insights that continue to inform my work today.
Through The Greer Experience, I share these lessons to help others expand their perspective and build a more intentional, fulfilling way of living.
