About Greer Liguori
The Greer Experience isn’t just a journey, it’s a way of life designed to help you live healthier, happier, and with greater purpose. It’s about exploring the world with curiosity, seeking wisdom from those who have lived well, and uncovering the keys to longevity and fulfillment. Through travel, books, deep conversations, and immersive experiences, I gather and share insights that empower you to create a life of adventure, wellness, and meaning.
My passion for exploration began early, shaped by years of playing competitive sports. As a former Division I athlete at Boston University, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and pushing beyond limits, lessons that now guide me in every journey I take. Sports instilled in me the drive to embrace challenges and find purpose in personal growth, whether on the track and field or in life itself.
That same curiosity led me to earn my Master’s in Nutrition at Boston University study abroad in Italy, where I immersed myself in a culture that values health, longevity, and intentional living. Experiencing firsthand how movement, food, and connection contribute to a healthy life, I became passionate about uncovering the secrets of those who have lived long, healthy, and purposeful lives.
At the heart of The Greer Experience is the belief that knowledge is meant to be shared. Books have the power to expand our thinking, wisdom is passed down through generations, and new experiences can transform the way we live. Every journey, whether through travel, reading the words of a great thinker, or learning from someone who has lived a life full of meaning, is an opportunity to discover insights that can help you thrive.
More than anything, The Greer Experience is about encouraging each of us to embrace confidence in our own gifts and trust in our unique path. No two journeys are the same, and that’s what makes life so extraordinary. When we lean into what makes us different, our passions, talents, and perspectives; we create a life that is not just adventurous but deeply fulfilling.
I invite you to be part of this journey through travel, engaging discussions, and shared experiences. Together, let’s explore the world and uncover the knowledge that makes life extraordinary.
“We must not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we began and to know the place for the first time.”
-T.S. Eliot

Boston University
I’ve been an athlete my whole life, and eventually, I decided to compete in the 400m hurdles at Boston University. During my time there, I faced physical, mental, and emotional challenges that pushed me to grow in ways I never expected. Through these experiences, I learned how to take care of myself and create a meaningful life.
Along the way, I developed a deep love for nutrition, earning my Master’s in Nutrition and even studying the mediterranean diet in Italy to expand my understanding of health and wellness.
Now, my goal is to share the lessons I’ve learned from books, travel, documentaries, health, and life itself, so that you might find something valuable for your own journey. I hope to inspire and support you in living a meaningful and purposeful life.
Athletic Coach
I moved to Miami to chase my dreams and help others with improve their health and fitness. As a trainer at a gym, I found purpose in helping people improve their lives through movement, nutrition, mindset, and wellness.
One of the most incredible opportunities came when I met NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen, who offered me the once in a lifetime opportunity to train his son’s basketball team. Coaching these athletes was a transformative experience and I applied everything I had learned in college and throughout my life to help them grow, both physically and mentally. This team gave me a sense of purpose and something I looked forward to every single day.
I loved making a difference in people’s lives, helping them build strength, confidence, and improve their health. They taught me so much about myself and I learned many valuable lessons from being a part of that community and family. But deep down, I knew there was still something more I was meant to do.

Blue Zones
I fell in love with the concept of Blue Zones in college after my parents gave me a cookbook for Christmas. That gift sparked my curiosity, and I started cooking these meals with my friends, fascinated by the lifestyle and longevity secrets of the world’s healthiest communities.
When I moved to Miami, I set a goal to visit all of the Blue Zones and personally interview the people who live there, to find the answers myself.
I was fortunate to travel to Nicoya, Costa Rica, where I spoke with locals about their secrets to living a long, healthy, and sustainable life. That experience only deepened my passion for understanding what truly contributes to longevity and well-being.
My mission is to visit all of the Blue Zones and share their wisdom with you, so we can all learn how to live healthier, more meaningful lives
World Traveler
Since then, my life has taken an incredible turn. I am incredibly grateful and fortunate to have traveled all over the world, immersing myself in different cultures, learning from diverse experiences, and gaining insights that have shaped my perspective on health, wellness, and life itself.
Each place I’ve visited has taught me something valuable, and now, my goal is to share those lessons with you, so you can be inspired, grow, and discover new ways to live a fuller, more meaningful life.
